Billy Willbond: Flight of Aid
Billy Willbond departs for Malawi with Izzy African Comfort Dolls of Joy
FLIGHT OF AID

Going out to Africa, on board Air Canada Flight 101
Helped by generous Canadians, we flew towards the sun
Carrying lots of medicines, this is a working run
With extra bags and PTPs, these flights are not for fun

Victoria to Vancouver, and from Ottawa to Heathrow
Carrying meds from HPIC out to Africa we did go
We met with Lew MacKenzie, the Patron of ICROSS,
Tom Clark, Stephen Lewis, and the needy and lost

We plan to spread the word about “need”
And we want Canadians to take “heed”
To join us in the poverty fight
And help Aids Orphans in their plight!

Thanks to Tom, and thanks to Lew.
And Robert Osborne and the W-5 Crew
You spread the word about need and relief
Across the caring land of the Maple Leaf!!
